Summer Term Events
The College is looking forward to an exciting end to this term with a massive range of events coming up over the final few weeks.
- Summer Showtime Spectacular featuring Dance, Drama and Music at Pavilion on 20th June at 7pm – tickets are still available from the Pavilion and College
- Fieldwork trips, Duke of Edinburgh training, cricket and rounders fixtures, grass track cycling and a visit to Newport Velodrome
- Art, Photography and Textiles Exhibition in the Telfer Centre from the 25th June
- Sports Awards ceremony 26th June with Don Armand from Exeter Chiefs as our guest of honour
- Various rewards trips including a visit to Somerset Cricket Ground
- Welcome Day for our new Year 7 students on 1st July
- Sports Days 2nd to 4th July
- The annual Year 13 Prom held at Ocean on 3rd July, which always proves to be a glamorous and emotional evening recognising the end of their education at ECC
- On 4th July the Year 11 Prom, which is probably one of the biggest and best Proms in the whole country, takes place again at the Pavilion. This event, hosted by ECC staff, celebrates the end of 5 years of education. As in previous years, the main road will be closed from 5.30pm for the students to arrive in style from 6.30pm. Spectators are always welcome
- A music concert in the Quad 6pm - 9pm on 10th July
- Premier Awards evening on 11th July
This will then all be rounded off by our huge Activity week programme which includes visits to France, New York as well as trips to Harry Potter World, Woodlands and local activities such as Beach Art.
