Sixth Form Bursary
We offer the 16-19 bursary which enables students from lower income household to access the resources they need to be able to succeed in their academic study.
We are able to pay for or contribute towards a range of resources such as:
- Curriculum trips
- Digital devices
- Stationary
- Travel

Support for GCSE Resit English and maths
We ensure that our students who have yet to achieve a grade 4 in GCSE English and/or maths have appropriate teaching to enable them to succeed this year. We meet the teaching hours requirements with maths and English specialist teachers.
Students on a level 2 programme have 2 hours per fortnight of supported study which includes support to study towards their GCSE resit exams. These students sit mock exams in the same way as year 11 and are held to the same high standards of engagement and effort as in their other Sixth Form subjects.
Supervised Study
All students on a level 3 programme including A levels, BTECs and other vocational qualifications have 4 hours per fortnight of supervised study with our academic or wellbeing mentor. During supervised study sessions students learn how to study effectively via our Head Start to Sixth Form programme and spend time planning and studying the right things using our Personalised Curriculum, Assessment and Study plans which have been developed by subject specialists to scaffold students independent study time.
