My Child at School (MCAS)
We use the My Child At School (MCAS) app. Here at ECC, we send out regular information through our electronic communication system. We also encourage parents to follow the regular news of the school on our website, Facebook page, and have a fortnightly newsletter keeping you up to date with celebrations across our College.
You can access MCAS through a web browser and the app store:
Android App - Parent App - Apps on Google Play
Apple App - Apple App MCAS

Key Features for Parents & Carers:
- Academic Insights: View reports, exam timetables and other academic data.
- Attendance: Track student attendance in real-time.
- Communication: Receive school messages, send messages to the school and get letters.
- Payments: Make secure online payments for lunch and trips.
- School Info: Access general school announcements and calendars.
- Update Contact Information: Keep the school up to date with any changes in your contact information, such as email address, telephone number or home address.
Where possible, app notifications will be used to contact parents/carers in an emergency relating to absence/discipline or to pass on information and reminders about progress evenings and events at the College.
Email will be used to contact you in most instances. For example, with information about college trips, communications regarding praise, awards, discipline and behaviour.
We use ClassCharts as our main platform to publish homework assignments and to contact students directly.
Transition
For our upcoming Year 7, students will be onboarded to MCAS on the first day of term, where they will receive all the information they need about payments, attendance and other key features. As this is a new process for our school, we kindly ask for your patience while we ensure everything is set up smoothly for students and families.
A letter/pack will be sent out during the transition process regarding the provisions for our new students on their first day of term regarding food payments etc.
