Sixth Form Football Academy
The Programme
Our Football Academy is designed to provide an opportunity for talented and gifted footballers to focus on their development in a supportive and specialist environment, whilst also gaining academic and vocational qualifications. It is designed as a student athlete programme, where the academic development and contribution by the student is valued over the athletic performance. We aim to develop the students by using a sports-based curriculum to support their transition into adulthood, giving them additional tools to help them navigate this.
Who is the programme designed for?
The programme is for everyone, and we are aiming to expand with more students being able to access the academy from year 13, and we hope to have a ladies' team in the future, applications dependent. Students will prioritise their academic studies where there are any clashes.
