Creative and Performing Arts Level 2
What will you study?
The Level 2 Diploma in Creative and Performing Arts equips learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding for entry to employment in the creative and performing arts industry. It can also lead to progression to further study at a higher level. The qualification aims to offer practical structured learning with the flexibility to specialise in different disciplines such as dance, acting and music.
You will have lessons and assessments in all disciplines, which will be tailored to your strengths and build confidence and ability in your skills across all to make you a real ‘triple threat!’
You will study 5 units over 1 year. The 2 core units are:
- Planning for a career in the arts
- Final performance with a public performance
Entry requirements: The standard entry for a Sixth Form pathway for Level 2, including A-Levels and Vocational subjects. It is 5 grade 3's at GCSE, including English Language and Maths.
