How to Book 

To book a place on a club please make a payment via sQuid. If your child is not a member of the College please contact the Accounts Department on 01395 255754 to organise alternative payment. Once a place is paid for then the place is confirmed and you will only be contacted if the course is cancelled or already full.

Enrolment deadline - January 16th 2020


Students not enrolled at the College will need to complete and return the SOE3 form found at the bottom of this page. Please return to The Youth Office, Exmouth Community College, Gipsy Lane, EX8 3AF.

YP01  Back to Basics Baking (Mon) - £35

Learn to cook simple sweet and savoury dishes. The club will consist of good old fashioned cooking followed by some traditional treats. Learn valuable skills within the kitchen while your freshly make creations are in the oven! A recipe sheet will issued on a weekly basis with information for which ingredients to buy for the following class.

A fusion of styles, techniques and routines. All you need is a love for dance and the ability to let your hair down and have fun. Students from Year 7 upwards welcome.

YP04  Drama - £27

Our aim is to inspire and develop confidence, creativity and imagination and have lots of fun! Students from Year 6 upwards welcome.

Monday’s 3.15-4.30pm in Hall 3

YP05  Horse Riding - £165

Qualified British Horse Society Instructors

Stable management and riding - working towards your British Horse Society progressive riding tests. Students must arrange their own transport to and from the Stables.

Tuesday’s 4-6pm at Budleigh Salterton Riding Stables

8 week course starting 21st Jan

 

YP06  Pony Club - £165

All levels of experience welcome. Qualified British Horse Society Instructors.

Fun riding - lessons and hacks (1hr) Stable management (1hr) Learn how to tack up, groom and all other aspects of stable management. Students must arrange their own transport to and from the Stables.

Saturday’s 11-1pm at Budleigh Salterton Riding Stables

8 week course starting 25th January

 

YP07  Pottery - £35

Saturday’s 10-11.30am at Exmouth Ceramic Group studio, 2-4 Meeting Street, Exmouth

3 sessions -  1st of February, Saturday 29th of February, Saturday 21 st March.

PLEASE NOTE - Change to YP07 Pottery - Times are 10 - 11.30am (previously advertised as  2-4pm)

 

YP08  Showstoppers - £15

Our aim is to inspire and develop confidence, creativity and imagination and have lots of fun! Students from Year 7 upward welcome

YP16 Introduction to Technical Theatre - £10

Tech club is an exciting opportunity for you to learn about all aspects of technical theatre, from understanding how a theatre lantern works to operating a lighting desk for a live performance. During this course there will be opportunity to work with the Drama department equipment, as well as visits to local theatres. Many of our previous tech club members have gone on to have successful careers in professional lighting and sound design. Year 9 students and above.
