During the month of October, twenty-nine of our Year 10 students completed the expedition section as part of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

The 'DofE with a Difference' expedition meant no overnight camp because of Covid-19 restrictions, but the students still completed an assessed two-day expedition, carried a fully packed rucksack, cooked their evening meal and put up tents. By keeping the expedition local, they were fortunate enough to experience the fantastic views of the coast and countryside of East Devon.

Well done to all of our students who were able to sneak their expedition in just before the second lock down! They are now well on their way to completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award and those who have are working towards their Silver Award. Well done everyone! Brilliant effort during times of adversity!
