Mrs Westcott (Head of Careers) attended a training event put on by Devon and Cornwall Police which explained all the different routes into the service and the many different job roles that are available.  

Young people are now able to gain experience from the age of 13 and begin volunteering from the age of 16. Recruitment from the age of 18 is now heavily encouraged and students are able to achieve degree level qualifications and complete apprenticeships in their chosen roles. 

Over the next few years Devon and Cornwall will be recruiting across the many different sectors.
